This document explains in plain language what information is collected on the Tax Refund Israel website (the "Site"), what it is used for and what rights you have regarding it. What information we collect
- Information you provide in the eligibility check form: full name, phone number, email, age range, city of residence (optional), marital status, salary range, the years of employment you selected, the circumstances relevant to eligibility, and any free text comments you choose to add.
- Basic technical information: the IP address from which the request was sent, used solely to protect against automated and malicious submissions.
Please note: at the check stage we do not ask for an ID number (Teudat Zehut) or personal documents. If documents are needed later in the process, we will tell you exactly which ones and why.
What the information is used for
- Checking your eligibility for a tax refund and contacting you with the results.
- Assisting you through the rest of the process, if you choose to go ahead.
The information is not sold and is not passed on to third parties, except for service providers needed to operate the Site and send email, or where required by law.
How the information is sent and stored
Your request details are sent over an encrypted connection to the Site's server, and from there forwarded by email to a dedicated mailbox using the Amazon SES service. The Site does not run a public database of requests.
Cookies
The Site does not place advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Fonts are loaded from the Google Fonts service, and infrastructure providers may log technical access data, as is customary.
Your rights
- To ask to see the information you provided about yourself.
- To ask for the information to be corrected or deleted.
- To withdraw your consent to further contact at any time.
For any privacy request, write to info@supertax.co.il and include the words "Privacy request" in your message.
Information security
We take reasonable and customary measures to secure the information. However, no transmission of data over the internet is completely immune, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the Site at the time of use.
